- The PSD initiative regarding the decarbonization law: Retired coal groups remain withdrawn, yet Romania's credibility suffers because the country often says one thing and does another, particularly in coal phase-out policies. Romania effectively pulled several coal-fired units between 2022 and 2025, transferring some to Transelectrica's technical reserve at the dispatcher's disposal.

- Diesel prices: Consumers should not expect major reductions from the dynamic excise mechanism. A 10 percent discount, initially proposed by the government, yields a modest reduction of only 34 bani.
