Last week, on TVR INFO, in the show Money, today with Ionut Gheorghe and Aurelian Dochia, Eugenia Gusilov discussed the latest oil and gas discovery announced by OMV Petrom. For crude oil, the discoveries include 20 million barrels of oil equivalent in the Verguleasa perimeter and 6 million boe in the Targoviste perimeter. For gas, there are 7 million boe in the Targu Jiu perimeter. In total, 33 million boe of new reserves are added to the 380 million boe that the company had as safe reserves at the end of 2022, given that the group's total hydrocarbon production in 2022 was 43.49 million boe. The company's production has been in constant decline over the last 5 years, dropping from 58.3 million boe in 2018 to 47.21 million boe in 2021.
