During an appearance on Euronews Romania, Eugenia Gusilov discussed the implications of declaring a state of emergency, noting that it serves as a preparation to manage an unpleasant crisis.

Unfortunately, the Romanian state has lost its project management capacity for large infrastructure, leading to continuous delays in projects meant to secure national energy independence. In her view, the immediate solution for survival is individual autonomy.

With approximately 350,000 prosumers in Romania reaching an installed capacity of nearly 4 GW, citizens are effectively compensating for state helplessness and the incompetence of state-owned companies that failed to deliver crucial energy projects on time.
