According to the commentary, the Romanian state shows no signs of concern for drivers and continues excessive taxation, resulting in Romania having the highest fuel prices in the region.

The approach of the Romanian state reflects an extremely cynical mindset: if citizens could afford a car, they must also be able to afford the high price per liter of petrol and diesel. Furthermore, the excise duty remains double compared to Bulgaria, leaving Romanian drivers to cope on their own.
