On March 30, on Antena 3, Eugenia Gusilov discussed the government's plans regarding fuel excise duties. In the meantime, the proposals to reduce the excise duty evolved significantly: while at the end of last week discussions mentioned a reduction between 10% and 40%, by Monday the figure became a maximum of 25%, and by Wednesday, April 1, the Ministry of Finance announced a potential reduction of only 5%-15%. Additionally, announcements from the prime minister indicated that the discount would apply exclusively to diesel fuel.
