On Euronews Romania, in the show Good evening Romania, Eugenia Gusilov addressed the exorbitant electricity prices recorded recently. She pointed out that the European crisis is amplified in Romania by pre-existing issues, such as the failure to stimulate investments in new production capacities and long delays in completing projects that could have relieved price pressure, such as the new 430 MW thermal power plant of Romgaz from Iernut, initially scheduled for completion in 2020 and delayed until late 2023.
