Romania Upstream Conference
Romania Energy Center (ROEC) was an official partner of the 5th edition of Romania Upstream Conference. The event, a flagship program of Industry Media Vector and the Petroleum Club of Romania, is designed for leading oil and gas executives, consultants, NOCs, IOCs, governments, and licensing agencies. The conference focused on critical aspects of the E&P industry, with emphasis on emerging company strategies, technological, commercial and business issues, development ventures and opportunities for oil companies in Romania. The presentations on Romania’s upstream canvassed the new paradigms and strategies in-play across the oil & gas value chain, while revealing the conventional and unconventional options that companies are facing.

Energy governance Round Table
Romania Energy Center (ROEC) together with GEA Strategy & Consulting S.A and Expert Forum organized Security, strategy, and energy governance, a big round table that took place on February 14, 2013, at Radisson Blu Hotel in Bucharest. It was attended by close to 100 experts from state-owned and private energy companies, academia, public administration, NGOs, and independent experts. The expert consultation was structured into five different round tables taking place simultaneously, each addressing two topics. This event was the first of a three stage consultation process aimed at producing a Pact for Energy. Romania Oil & Gas Conference
Romania Energy Center (ROEC) was an official partner of the Romania Oil & Gas conference. The event organized by ITE Group Plc took place on 4 – 5 December 2012, in Bucharest and addressed current developments, future projects and- opportunities for international oil and gas companies within the Romanian domestic energy market. Situated along the Black Sea continental shelf, Romania is one of the biggest oil producers in Central and Eastern Europe and the Romanian natural gas sector is one of the most developed in Europe. Its conventional and unconventional oil and gas potential makes it the only state in the region that can meet its own oil and gas demand, as well as export these resources.

Young Diplo conferences
Romania Energy Center partnered with GRASP for the first stage of the Young Diplo project – the conferences, which debuted with the first one at the Romanian Embassy in London, on February 4, 2012. The second took place in Bucharest, at the Romanian Cultural Institute, on March 30, 2012. Both events featured high caliber speakers such as HE Dr. Ion Jinga, HE Dr. Emil Brix, HE Pieter Andries Swanepoel, Mr. Nicolae Ratiu, Dr. Niculae Napoleon Antonescu, Andrew Costin, Dr. Ionut Purica, Dr. Ion Bucur, Holly Pattenden, Dr. Sandra Pralong, and other wonderful speakers that made these two events a success. In London ROEC was represented by Eugenia Gusilov while in Bucharest ROEC organized and moderated the energy panel with Radu Dudau as host.
